Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about what we do
If your question is not answered here, ask us — and if it needs a lawyer, we will say so.
- Are you a law firm?
- No. America Visa Collective is an independent education and administrative support business. We are not a law firm, not U.S. immigration attorneys, not a DOJ-recognised organisation and not DOJ-accredited representatives.
- Are you connected to the U.S. Government?
- No. We are not affiliated with USCIS, the U.S. Department of State, any U.S. embassy or consulate or any other government authority.
- Can you tell me which visa I should apply for?
- No. Choosing a category is a legal determination. We can explain how the official categories are described and link you to the government sources so you can read them yourself.
- Can you improve my chances of approval?
- No, and we never claim to. Visa decisions are made exclusively by United States Government authorities.
- What do you actually do?
- We provide general educational information, plain-language explanations of publicly available instructions, checklists, document organisation, clerical data entry from information you supply, general interview-preparation material and reminders.
- Do you submit applications for me?
- No. You review, approve and submit your own application. We never sign or submit anything on your behalf.
- What happens if my situation is complex?
- If your matter involves a refusal, overstay, removal, criminal history, inadmissibility concern, alleged misrepresentation, waiver or appeal, we will restrict our service to general information and refer you to licensed U.S. immigration attorney resources.
- Do your fees include government fees?
- No. Our charges cover educational materials or administrative support only. They are separate from all U.S. Government filing and application fees.
- How is my information protected?
- We collect only what is genuinely needed, transmit and store information using encryption, restrict staff access, delete files on a published schedule and never sell customer information. We do not store payment-card details.
- Do you guarantee delivery timeframes?
- We publish delivery timeframes for our own work products. We cannot guarantee any government appointment, processing period or outcome.
